Obituary

Ulla Brita Testa of Heritage Village died Monday, December 20, 2010 at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Louis D. Testa. Mrs. Testa was born December 16, 1928 in Djursholm, Sweden, daughter of Paul Duberg and Brita (Hafstrom) Duberg. She came to the United States in 1953 where she lived for many years in Danbury, her husband's hometown. She was employed by the Newtown Board of Education for 29 years as secretary at the middle school. In 1985 the Testas moved to Heritage Village. Mrs. Testa was an avid reader and in Heritage Village was a member of the Scandinavian Club, the Scrabble Group and for many years the Garden Club. She is survived by her son, Louis D. Testa Jr. and his wife Joan; 2 granddaughters, Tracy and Heather; a sister in Sweden and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Danbury Hospital Dialysis Fund, 24 Hospital Ave., Danbury, 06810.

Cemetery: Pine Hill Cemetery

Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury

Services: Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, at 1: 00 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.

Visitation: Calling hours Monday from 11: 00 a.m. until the time of the service.
