Obituary

Bethlehem- Tristan Gabriel Ocasio passed away on Saturday March 4, 2023.

He was born on August 23, 2005, Waterbury, CT to Tristan Ocasio and Melissa (Strachan). He is survived by his three siblings Aiden, Madison and Julian as well as his grandfather Hector Gonzalez and grandmother Margaret Strachan. In addition to his parents, siblings and grandparents Tristan is survived by numerous aunts' uncles' and cousins.

He had an infectious personality and was genuinely loved by all that knew him. Full of ambition Tristan left a lifelong impression on everyone he met. From an early age, he loved animals and the great outdoors. In both middle and high school, he participated in agricultural programs which gravitated him towards jobs in farming.

Tristan worked at Young's Farm, Brothers Tree Service and KNL where he was adored and considered as more than an employee. He always kept busy, craved learning trades and working with his hands. Tristan was athletic, he played soccer throughout his childhood and participated in Pomperaug Pop Warner football program. He also played football his Freshman year for Nonnewaug High School.

Tristan enjoyed riding quads and dirt bikes, gaming, working on his truck, fishing, kayaking and being outdoors. Despite all the activities that kept Tristan busy he still managed to find time to be an amazing big brother. He was always ready for a game night with his younger siblings. Tristan kept himself readily available to bring his siblings wherever they needed to be, looking out for them as a big brother would.

As we say our final goodbye to Tristan, our hearts are filled with immense sorrow. Tristan was taken from us far too soon, leaving us with memories of a life that was full of potential and promise. Tristan touched the lives of so many people in his brief time with us. He was a loving child, caring and loyal friend, and an inspiration to all that knew him. He had a kind gentle soul that radiated from within. He will forever be loved and missed. Though Tristan may no longer be with us in body, his spirit and memory will live on forever in the hearts and minds of those that knew and loved him
