Timothy (Tim) Walter Clough of Southbury, CT passed away on October 2, 2026 at the age of 71. He is deeply missed by his wife, Gilda, his sons Matthew Clough and his wife Casey and Patrick Clough and his fiancé Jessica and his stepson Jonathon Grabowski and his wife Whitney. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Flynn, Caroline, Conrad, Sofia, Natalie and Olivia. He also leaves behind his siblings, Bette Allen, MaryEllen March, Thomas Clough and Bill Clough. (deceased are James Clough, John Clough and Nancy Cavanaugh) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tim was predeceased by his parents Malcom and Helen Clough.
Tim was born on June 25, 1955 in Greenfield, MA. He spent numerous years in sales with PepsiCo and later became a self-employed contractor. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southbury.
Tim was happiest on the water and at one time owned a sailing school. Some of his favorite days were spent at Yankee games and concerts with his sons and spending time with friends at the Fayerweather Yacht Club in Bridgeport. Summer days you would find him and Gilda at the pool with friends. He was the first to lend a hand when family or friends had a project around the house and nothing made him happier than time with his grandchildren whom he loved to spoil with ice cream.
Tim had a wonderful sense of humor and he shared it generously with everyone who knew him.
Family and friends are welcome to gather to celebrate Tim’s life on Sunday, October 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home at 235 Main Street North, Southbury, CT with a prayer service at 2:30. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Foundation for Prader-Willi Research, www.fpwr.org.
