Thomas Young, age 64, died unexpectedly at his home, Monday, April 6, 2020. He was born November 15, 1955, grew up in Brookfield and was a graduate of Brookfield High School where he was a talented athlete. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, and his quirky sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. He was last employed at 7-11 in Danbury. In addition to his mother, Thomas is survived by two sisters, Joan Massey of Nebo, NC, and Nancy Spallone of Naugatuck, three nephews, two nieces and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Richard, two brothers, Frank Young and Richard E. Young and two sisters, Ruth Arbitelle and Jane Young. A memorial service for Thomas was celebrated on Wednesday, April 15 at the United Church of Christ, 283 Main Street North, Southbury, CT where his remains were interred in the church's memorial wall.
