Thomas McCusker, 83, of Oxford died Thursday December 1, 2011 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the husband of Gunnel (Anderberg) McCusker.
Mr. McCusker was born August 24, 1928 in Jackson Heights, New York a son of the late Daniel and Ellen (McMahon) McCusker. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean conflict on the USS Princeton aircraft carrier. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Oxford and loved boating.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Thomas McCusker and his wife Judith of Weston and Michael and his wife Faith of Maryland and 2 granddaughters, Katherine McCusker and Margaret McCusker. He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel McCusker and a sister, Mary McCusker.

Services: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday December 5th at10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Oxford. Burial will follow in Southford Cemetery, Oxford with full military honors.
Visitation: Friends may call at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 235 Main St. North, on Sunday December 4th from 4pm to 6pm.
