SOUTHBURY - Tadeusz (Ted) A. Przedpelski 85, formerly of Forest Hills, N.Y., died Wednesday February 27th at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness.
Ted was born May 31, 1927 in Warsaw, Poland and immigrated with his parents to New York City in 1940. After attending MIT briefly, he joined the U.S. Army in 1945 and served in Germany through the end of the war and during U.S. occupation.
After his discharge from the army in 1947, he began his 50 year career in international shipping with American Union Transport, served as a vice president of International Paper Company, and president of Forest Lines.
During his retirement, Ted served as president of the Heritage Village Senior Advocacy Club and was later elected as president of Heritage Village Master Association. He was an avid tennis, golf, badminton and bridge player.
He is survived by his wife, Corinne, of 63 years, four children, Andrew and his wife, Ginger, of Lindenhurst, NY, John and his wife, Lynda, of Summit, NJ, Victor and his wife, Jennifer, of Albany, NY, and Janet Przedpelski Sistek, and her husband, Brian,of North Andover, MA, along with ten grandchildren.

Funeral: Church of the Epiphany
Services: Funeral services will be held on Monday March 4th at 2pm at the Church of the Epiphany, 262 Main St. North, Southbury. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Southbury in the spring.
Visitation: Friends may call at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 235 Main St. North, on Sunday March 3rd from 2 - 4pm.
