It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Suzanne Finn, aged 81, who departed this life on June 9, 2026, after a brief decline in her health. Born on November 20, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, Suzanne blossomed into a remarkable woman whose life was filled with love, passion, and cherished memories.
Suzanne graduated from Mount St. Mary Academy in Newburgh, New York, in 1963, marking the beginning of a journey that led her eventually to her husband, Jack, during her time as a reservationist at SAS airlines. In 1967, the couple settled in Kent, Connecticut, before moving to Roxbury in 1969. In 1982, Suzanne would find her home in Bethlehem, Connecticut.
Throughout her life, Suzanne developed a deep love for antiques and collectibles, which she lovingly showcased in her home—a place that became a museum of her fond memories and cherished items. Her time at Grass Roots Antiques in Woodbury was a testament to her passion, where Suzanne shared her enthusiasm with fellow antique lovers and turned her passion into a vibrant reality.
Suzanne is predeceased by her parents, James Finn and Dorothy Testa, yet she leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory with them. She is survived by her brother, Charles Finn (Lisa), her sister, Gail Mulligan, her devoted children, Elizabeth Wilson, John Annable, and Dana Annable. She will also be lovingly missed by her grandchildren Cassandra Reelick, Jaclyn Giannini (Corbin), Lindsey Reelick, and Carina Dobbs, and by her cherished great-grandchildren, Gwenevere Grandpre and Saylor Giannini, along with her beloved nephews Jason Finn, Ian Finn, and Brian Mulligan, and niece Kacie Herrell.
Additionally, her great-nieces, Lily and Claire Mulligan and Adelyn Herrell, will hold her memory close to their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home located 235 Main St. N., Southbury, CT.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located 910 Main St. S. in Southbury. Following the Mass, Suzanne will be laid to rest at Carmel Hill Cemetery located 300 Carmel Hill Rd N. in Bethlehem.
