Susan Turner Sullivan of Newtown, CT (formerly Somers, NY), unexpectedly died on Monday September 16th at 73 years old. Susan was born in Bronxville to Robert J. and Elsie Flaherty Turner.

In 1976, she married the love of her life Ken Sullivan. Together they established Rye's Sullivan Opticians which served the community for 25 years.

Susan is predeceased by Ken, both parents and her brother Douglas Turner. She is survived by her daughters Heather and Holly Sullivan as well as her brother Robert D. Turner. She also leaves behind three grandchildren Kenneth, Gregory and Elsie whom she loved with all of her heart.

Calling hours will be held for Susan on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 3pm - 5pm at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street N. Southbury. There will be an additional hour of calling hours on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 9:00am until 10am. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 10:30am at United Church of Christ, 238 Main Street N. Southbury. Burial will follow at Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY at 1:00pm.
