Susan M. Kacerguis, age 68, of Winsted passed away at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on June 17, 2022 after a long courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born October 13, 1953 in Torrington to parents John and Olga Kacerguis. Susan graduated from Watertown High School in 1971 and went on to enjoy a variety of careers.

A true country girl at heart, Susan is remembered for her love of horses, her passion for country music, and her dedication to winning multiple ribbons during riding competitions. Additionally, she took great pleasure in gardening and deeply admired the beauty of the flowers she grew.

Susan is lovingly survived by her sisters Kristine Conway (Richard) and Kathryn Donofri; nieces Skylar Conway and Josephine Donofri, and nephew Thomas John Donofri. She also leaves behind her beloved cats Billy and Simba.
