ROXBURY- Steven Alan Early, born February 27, 1955, died at home Wednesday, February 4, 2009. He was the husband of Mary Early.

Steve was born in Rockville Centre, NY and attended Boston University. He received his BS in Communications and a Masters Degree in Finance in 1983 from Hofstra University.

Aside from spending time with Mary, Allie and his golden retriever, "Miss Pocket", Steve's proudest accomplishments took place during his 20 year career working as Government Bond Broker on Wall Street. Steve lived with the loss of many friends on 9/11. He loved the intensity and excitement of the trading rooms, the constant noisy banter of NYC, though equally appreciated the serenity and beauty of country life to focus on his love of music.

Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter Alexandra L. Early, a brother John Early and his wife Candace Early and their two sons, Brian and Sean. He is also survived by Mary's sister Nancy and her husband Richard Minicucci and their three children, Abby, Alexander and Jonathan and his wife Hillary, Mary's other sister, Felicity Ryan and her husband Jim and their three children, James, Andrew and Katie, Mary's brother, John V. Moran, III and his wife Janet and their three children, John IV, Betsy, and Thomas Bendan and his wife Bridget.
