Woodbury- Stephen Barrett Herrick, 42, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Woodbury on February 11, 2025. He was the loving son of Michael and the late Arlene (Katz)Herrick.

Stephen was born on Halloween in 1982 in New Milford, Connecticut. He graduated Pomperaug High School in 2001 and earned a Bachelors Degree in Communication in 2005 from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. As a personnel consultant, Stephen made his living doing what he enjoyed, talking with and helping people. Stephen's compassion extended to animals as well, often fostering dogs until they were adopted into their forever home.

Stephen leaves behind his father, Michael. He was predeceased by his mother Arlene. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the Southbury location of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. N.
