Obituary
Stephen W. Davis, 68, of Marseilles, formally of Bristol, Conn., passed away Sunday April 1, 2018 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Calling hours will be held on April 28, 2018 from 10am to 11am with a celebration of life at 10:30 at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School Street Woodbury, CT 06798. Burial follow at South Cemetery, Woodbury, CT 06798.
Stephen was born January 22, 1950 in Waterbury, Conn. to Edgar A. and Betty (Hoffman) Davis. He married Jacqueline T. Viviano who preceded him in death in 2017.
He served in the Air Force as a tech sergeant until his retirement and then was employed by the Hartford, Conn. Post Office for 15 years.
Stephen is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Davis of Marseilles; two grandchildren, Alexander McCree and Alyssa Hill; his father, Edgar A. Davis of Calif.; two sisters, Holly (Leonard) Hughes of Calif. and Wendy (Robert) Meril of Conn.; and a brother, Alan (Becky) Davis of Conn.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife.
