Obituary

NEWTOWN- Mrs. Stella "Mimi" Eskierski, 82, of Currituck Rd., died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at her home. She was the wife of Bernard T. Eskierski.

Mrs. Eskierski was born December 28, 1923 in Bayonne, NJ, daughter of the late Bronislaw and Stella (Olkowski) Zarski. She lived in Port Chester, New York for many years , graduated from Port Chester High School, and had been employed at the Life Saver Company. She also had worked at the Wilton Nursing and Home Health Care.

Mrs. Eskierski had played a vital role in the intricacies of the success of her familys business, Villarina Pasta and More, in Newtown and Southbury.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Bernard T. Eskierski, Jr. of Newtown and Steven A. Eskierski of Southbury and two daughters, Joanne Knees of Newtown and Suzanne Eskierski of Southbury, a sister Mary Hamill of Ohio and three granddaughters, Courtney, Morgan and Joslynn.

Funeral: Sacred Heart Church

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Southbury. Entombment will be in St. Marys Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held at the chapel at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday (12/28) from 4 to 8 pm.
