MANNESS - Solange 'Sally' Manness of Southbury, CT passed away on February 6th, 2015 at the age of 80. She was born in Puerto Rico in 1934 to Josephine and Manuel Rodriguez. During her childhood she moved to NYC where she later wed Robert Manness and moved to Carmel, NY to raise their two children Robb Manness and Karin Prah. Although they have been divorced for many years they remained close friends. Sally was an avid reader and often joked that one day she would write her own memoir. She loved to garden, enjoyed crocheting Afghans, was a great dancer, an amazing cook but above all loved her family, children and her precious grandchildren!

Sally is survived by her brother Manuel Rodriguez, her children Robb Manness and Karin Prah, son-in-law Jozef Prah IV of Newtown and Southbury, and her two beloved grandchildren Jozef Prah and Toni-Marie Prah. She will be loved, cherished and truly missed.

Services: The family will be holding a memorial service celebrating her life on March 7 at 10: 30 AM at St. John's Episcopal Church, located at 5 Washington Ave., Sandy Hook, CT 06482. Please note that in case of severe inclement weather the memorial service will be held the following day Sunday, March 8, 2015 starting at 11: 30 AM at St. John's Church.
