Shirley Moore, 71, resident of Woodbury CT passed away on February 13, 2022. She was born in Clarksdale Mississippi, beloved daughter to the late Vernice and Daniel Stokes. She left behind her Son Alex Moore and his significant other Debbie Pirkey along with her siblings, Daniel Stokes and his wife Kimberly, Martha Hansen, her son Leo Jr. and Rayford Stokes.

Shirley had a passion for antiques, books, and home decorating.  She loved Coca-Cola, was a true TJ Maxx Maxxinista and loved to dance. She also enjoyed working as a care giver over the years before she was diagnosed with Alzheimer and Dementia and forced into retirement. Shirley was cherished, she brought a lot of love and will be in our hearts forever and be deeply missed.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 10:00 - 12:00 P.M. at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School St. Woodbury, CT.  A celebration of Life prayer service will take place at 11:00am.  Following the memorial gathering, Shirley will be laid to rest with her beloved parents in New North Cemetery on Washington Ave.
