Loving grandmother

Shirley L. King, 88, of Woodbury, died Monday, March 30, 2015 at the River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury. Shirley was born November 17, 1926 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Edwin J. and Bertha May (Gibson) Walston. For over 30 years Shirley worked in the shipping department at the Denominator Company in Woodbury. She is survived by her son, Charles F. King of Woodbury; three daughters, Louise Olsen of Oxford, Bertha Owens of Northfield and Carol Logue of Woodbury; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her son, Arthur King Jr. and her brothers, Edwin and Harvey Walston.
