Shirley Kravitz Albert, 85, of Southbury, CT, died peacefully and on her own terms, Monday, August 27 at her home. She was the beloved widow of Dr. Earl A. Albert. Mrs. Albert was born February 27, 1922 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Abraham and Masha Glassman Kravitz.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by her children, Dr. Todd Albert and his wife Barbara of Philadelphia, PA; Beth Bren and her husband Leonard of West Hartford, CT, Ava Schnidman and her husband Charles Harpin of Farmington, CT, Shira Manley and her husband David of Lancaster, PA; a brother, Dr. Sanford L. Kravitz of Palm Springs, CA; 9 grandchildren, Rachel and Ethan Bren, Katie and Evan Schnidman, Ean and Autumn Manley, Elliot and Emily Albert and Stuart McCormick

Visitation: Shiva will be observed on Wednesday and Thursday at 7: 30 p.m. at the home of Ave Schnidman, 10 Pheasant Hill Road, Farmington, CT.
