Sharon A. (Natusch) Detlefsen, 55, of Southbury, died Friday September 23, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of David C. Detlefsen.
Mrs. Detlefsen was born October 6, 1955 in Waterbury, daughter of Henrietta (Jane) (TerVeen) Cenicola of Ft. Pierce, Fl and the late Milton Natusch and her step-father Joseph Cenicola. . She had resided in Southbury for over 30 years. Mrs. Detlefsen was the head waitress at Yvonne's Breakfast and Lunch in Southbury for 15 years where she was loved by her customers. Having been very artistic and loved to draw, she designed the children's placemats for the restaurant. She enjoyed gardening and loved her cats and angelfish and she enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very loving and caring woman who will be greatly missed.
She leaves a daughter, Heather Detlefsen Carman of Burlington; a son, Shawn Detlefsen and his wife Tabitha Detlefsen of Southbury; three brothers, Milton S. Natusch of Mansfield, Roger D. Natusch of Bethlehem and Kevin J. Natusch of Torrington; a step daughter, Patricia Detlefsen Rinaldi Griffin of North Branford; four grandchildren, Kylea Rinaldi, Nicholas Weller, Tyler and Ryan Detlefsen, one niece and a nephew.

Funeral: Oxford Congregational Church
Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 1 at 11 a.m. at the Oxford United Church of Christ Congregational, 3 Academy Rd., Oxford. Burial will be in the Oxford Congregational Church Cemetery, Governors Hill Rd., Oxford.
Visitation: Calling hours will be Friday September 30, from 5-8 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North.
