Sharon Louise Flood

July 17, 1943- October 2, 2021

Sharon, 78, died in Griffin Hospital on the evening of October 2nd from natural causes. She is survived by Her son and daughter in-law Frank and Beth, her granddaughter Mae Dykman, and her brothers Bruce Flood and Gary Flood. She was predeceased by her son John Jay Dykman (10/28/63-12/14/2020).

Sharon was a mother and homemaker, a cashier for many years for Kmart in Ansonia, and Lake Package Store in Southbury. She was a member and later the Treasurer of The Greater New York Yorkshire Terrier Club. She operated a home kennel licensed by the AKC where she raised Yorkshire Terriers for many years as well as a large litter of Saint Bernards.

A private memorial will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "My Sister's Place" 380 Main St, Ansonia, Ct 06401.
