Sharlene Ann (Barrett) Ludington, 63, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 1, 2015, with her beloved husband of 45 years by her side. She was the loving wife of William J. Ludington Sr.

Sharlene was born in Waterbury on November 29, 1951, daughter of the late Leroy J. and Betty Lou (Noragong) Barrett of Oxford. She was a long time resident of Woodbury. She retired 20 years ago from the health care profession. Sharlene enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her gardens. Her most precious joys were her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Sharlene is survived by three children, Kellie Barrett Neal and her husband Michael of Sheffield, Mass., Corrinne A. Paparazzo and her husband Daniel of Woodbury and William J. Ludington Jr. and his wife Kristina of Bethlehem. Three grandchildren, Heather Tilley, Daniel J. Paparazzo and William J. Ludington, III, and two grandchildren, Cheyanne and Landon Tilley. She also leaves her beloved dog, Lady Remington whom was her daily companion. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Sharlene was predeceased by her grandson, Michael J. Neal Jr.

Funeral: North Congregational Church

Services: A funeral service will be held on Friday August 7th at 11 am at the North Congregational Church, 11 Main St North. Woodbury. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 6th from 5-7 pm at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson Lovetere, 2 School St. Woodbury.
