Sary Ritchie of Heritage Village in Southbury, CT.  died peacefully on Thursday November 28 at the age 77. She is survived by her husband Robert Ritchie, her children Andrew Schenfield, Eric Schenfield and Jennifer Schenfield Burwin, and  6 grandchildren.

Sary was born in Brooklyn NY,she attended James Madison High School and college at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She moved to Shenorock NY where she raised her children in the close knit community.  Later in life she moved to Middlebury CT and began working in the Banking Industry and worked her way up to branch manager.  Sary was always about family first and known for her kindness and honesty. She loved to talk to people whether they were friends or strangers.  She loved all the fine arts and was  gifted in painting and drawing.  She will be missed by many.

A funeral service will take place Sunday December 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at B'nai Israel Temple located 444 Main St North Southbury. Burial will follow services at New North Cemetery, Woodbury. Munson Lovetere Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
