IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sarah Nicole
D'Avino
May 21, 1987 – July 8, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Sarah Nicole D'Avino announces her passing on July 8, 2024. Sarah was born on May 21, 1987 in Waterbury, CT to Mary (Carmody) D'Avino of Bethlehem and Ralph D'Avino of Waterbury.
She was a graduate of Nonnewaug High School class of 2005. Sarah was pursuing a degree in early childhood education from Naugatuck Valley Community College and Chater Oak State College, a field she was passionate about and found great fulfillment in. Sarah was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church in Bristol and found comfort in her faith. Sarah enjoyed camping with the family at destinations ranging from Rhode Island to the White Mountains. She took on challenges like climbing Mt. Washington and Mt. Katahdin, as well as experiencing the thrill of stalking buffalo in South Dakota. Sarah also found enjoyment in fishing in Connecticut streams and lakes; she even baited her own hooks!
Sarah's greatest love by far was her son Gregory, and her family. She was always taking Gregory on adventures. Sarah loved planning parties and events for her family and friends. She was known as a generous soul, always willing to help everyone and ready to lend a hand to those in need.
Sarah was predeceased by her grandparents Helen and Brenden T. Carmody and Nicoletta and Tomasso D'Avino, as well as her sister Rachel D'Avino.
Left to cherish her memory she leaves her son Gregory and his father Bruce Chandler, Jr., mom Mary (partner Peter), sister Hannah Miranda (Joshua), their children Reya and Eva, stepbrothers Stephen Paradis, Justin Paradis (Debbie), children Demi and James. Father Ralph D'Avino (Karen) and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends.
