Sally Hyatt Kearney, born in Danbury, CT on November 8, 1949, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on July 6, 2018 at her home. She graduated from Western CT State University with a B.S. in English Education, and later received a M.F.A in Communications/Theatre from Florida State University. She had a love for helping others and a passion for music and the performing arts. She was predeceased by her late husband, Thomas E. Kearney. She is survived by her 10 step children: Cathe Kearney of Danbury, NH, Barbara Colon and her husband Ruben of Naugatuck, Thomas Kearney Jr. and his wife Karen of Bristol, Mary Beth Bette and her husband Stephen of Huntsville, AL, Kenneth Kearney and his wife Elizabeth of Morris, John Kearney and his wife Barbara of Terryville, Theresa Kearney of Franklin, NH, Sharon Kearney of Torrington, Veronica (Sam) Jensen and her husband Edwin of Rock Hill, SC, Sandra Kearney of Wolcott. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, P.O. Box 491, Woodbury, CT. 06798 to help defray costs. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Sally's home 6 Circle Drive East Danbury, Connecticut from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
