Mr. Ryan David VerNooy, 23, of Vernon died unexpectedly Saturday December 4, 2010. He was born September 17, 1987 in New Haven, a son of David and Nancy (Kreiss) VerNooy of Oxford.
Ryan was a graduate of Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and was a president of the Psi Upsilon Fraternity. He was a leader in Lehigh Tae Kwan Do and Lehigh EMT Service. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree, he began working as a Mechanical Engineer for Quest Global Services in East Hartford.
His hobbies included hiking, running, reading and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Jason VerNooy and a sister, Stephanie VerNooy.

Services: A service at the Funeral Home will begin at 7pm. Burial services will be at the convenience of the family.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday December 7th from 4 - 7pm at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 235 Main St. North.
