SOUTHBURY, CT- Mrs. Ruth I. Sheridan, 91, of Heritage Village, died Wednesday October 3, 2007, at the Village at East Farms, Waterbury. She was the wife of the late James Sheridan.
Mrs. Sheridan was born July 11, 1916 in Prospect Park, NJ, daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Schuster) Uhlig. She graduated from Clifton High School, Class of 1933. She married her late husband in 1941.
Mrs. Sheridan was employed by Givaudan Corporation, where she had worked for 47 years, retiring as Assistant to Treasurer of the Finance Department. After her retirement, she moved to Heritage Village, Southbury, CT and also volunteered at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. Mrs. Sheridan was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church where she served as treasurer and was active in the Women's Fellowship, serving as secretary.
Mrs. Sheridan is survived by two sisters in-law, five nieces, 6 grand nephews and two great grand nephews.

Services: A funeral service will be held at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North on Monday at 11 a.m.
Visitation: Friends may call the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
