Beloved Mother & Grandmother
Mrs. Ruth E. Salinardi, 92, died December 23rd at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was the wife of the late Rocco A. Salinardi, Sr., and a longtime resident of Oxford. She was born on January 4, 1920, daughter of the late Henry Hurley and Margaret (Cavanaugh) Dinnenny.
She is survived by her children, Diane Buonocore and her husband Peter of Oxford, Mary Anne Samoker of Oakville, Ruth Passaro and her husband Lawrence of Newtown, Gerard Salinardi and his wife Marlene of Oxford, Joseph Salinardi and his wife Catherine of Orange, William Salinardi and Linda Salinardi of California, Margaret Mirabelle and her husband Paul of Oxford, Catherine Oatley of Woodbury, 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson, and her devoted friend John Hughes of Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her son, Rocco A. Salinardi, Jr., her infant son, James Salinardi, her son-in-law, Brad Oatley, her brothers, Henry Hurley, Jr., Joseph Dinnenny and her sisters, Margaret Kelly and Jane Rathburn.

Funeral: St. Teresa's Church

Services: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday December 28th at St. Teresa's Church, Woodbury at 10am. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St., on Friday from 9am until the time of service.
