WOODBURY- Mrs. Ruth (Meyers) Ring Marggraff Baker, died Saturday April 22, 2017 at home. She was the widow of Harvey Ring, Lewis Marggraff and Robert Baker.

Ruth was born February 18, 1932 in Waterbury, Ct, daughter of the late Dr. Royal A. and Ruth (Light) Meyers. She graduated from Watertown High Scool and the Catherine Gibbs School. She worked as a secretary for Sealey Mattress in Oakville and also the VNA in Watertown. Ruth also worked a a hostess at the Curtis House in Woodbury for several years. She and her first husband started the answering service in Watertown and both were members of the Watertown JC's.

She and her second husband Lewis Marggraff did catering for home parties and other events. Ruth was an elaborate creator of making lampshades from different sceneries and making Christmas stockings. She also loved to cook.

She is survived by her son, David W. Ring of Woodbury and a brother, Royal Meyers of Watertown, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a nephew.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. The Woodbury Funeral home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. is in charge of arrangements.
