Rosemary Petruzzi, 64, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. Rosemary was born June 5, 1950 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Salvatore and Violet (Belanger) Mucci. She graduated from UCONN with a bachelor's degree. She worked summers as a waitress at the Curtis House in Woodbury which she enjoyed very much and was a manager at Friendly's Restaurant. She loved animals and interior design. She is survived by her sister, Annamarie Bean and her husband Dennis of Torrington, her nephew, Mathew Bean and his wife Bethany and their two children, Andrew James and Molly Ann; her niece, Denise Marie Schwebler and her husband Bryan; and her longtime friend and companion, Stephen Paluskas.

Services: Funeral mass will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity, 48 East St. Bethlehem. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.

Visitation: Calling hour on Friday, at the church, from 10: 00 a.m. until the time of the mass.
