SOUTHBURY- Rose Ann Carelli, 96, of Southbury, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late Michael Joseph Carelli.

Mrs. Carelli was born June 9, 1913 in East Hartford, daughter of the late Liborio and Mary M. (Mangeria) Longo. She has resided in Southbury for the last 16 years, previously living in East Hartford her entire life. Mrs. Carelli was a gourmet cook and had enjoyed ballroom dancing with her late husband. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Carelli of Ashburn, VA and Michael Carelli, Jr. of Brookfield, CT, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by eight brothers and sisters.

Services: A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 26 at 11: 00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford.

Visitation: Visitation will be held on Friday morning at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. from 9: 00 to 10: 30 a.m. prior to leaving for church.
