Ronald Steven Stokes, 81, died unexpectedly from natural causes on April 11, 2022. He was born February 28, 1941, Waterbury, the son of Robert and Edna (Gyuriesko). Ron graduated through the Waterbury School System. Following graduation, he joined the National Guard. Ron was a mason and an award winning pool builder. He also was an EMT, a volunteer for the Woodbury Ambulance and coached Pop Warner Football. Ron enjoyed traveling, golfing, cooking, bird watching, gardening and arguing politics. (Let's go Brandon!) In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert and his beloved son Gregory. Surviving is his ex-wife Barbara, sons Steven (Marta), Bryan (Eligia), Jason (Maggie), his grandchildren, Bret, Justin, Lauren, Boe, Brooke, Josh and Mae. In lieu, of flowers, contributions may be made to the Woodbury Ambulance Association. A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 30, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Meadowbrook Farm, 644 Middle Road Turnpike, Woodbury, CT. Please RSVP to BigRon73022@gmail.com
