Roger Frederick Turrill, 86, of 30 White Oak Rd., Woodbury, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Doss) Turrill.

Mr. Turrill was born June 1, 1921 in New Haven, CT, son of the late Frederick and Edith (Ferris) Turrill. He was past radiology manager at Waterbury Hospital for 39 years and was past president of Waterbury Hospital Credit Union for 10 years. Mr. Turrill was past treasurer of the Woodbury Elderly Housing. He was a US Army veteran of WW II having served in the medical corps in the Philippines and Japan. Mr. Turrill enjoyed golf, stamp collecting and square dancing.

Besides his wife of 63 years, he leaves two daughters, Ellen Turrill Waterhouse of Northfield, CT and Linda Turrill of Waterbury, one brother John Turrill of Arroya Grande, CA and several nieces.
