Robert Richard Wood, 90 years, passed peacefully at his home in Woodbury, CT, surrounded by his loving family on December 3, 2021.  He leaves his beloved wife, Marilyn (Clough) Wood, whom he met in San Francisco while proudly serving, during the Korean War, in the US Navy. They married on July 9,1955 and enjoyed a happy marriage of 66 years. Together they raised a family that was very precious to Bob.  He leaves his daughters and son in laws; Joyce and Karl Brazauskas, Jeanne and William Ross, and Jill Siok. He was predeceased by his son in law David Siok. He also leaves his grandchildren of whom he was immeasurably proud; Karissa Brazauskas (Jon Goldman), Erik Brazauskas, Alexa Brazauskas, Matthew Ross, Lindsey Ross, Benjamin Siok, Kolby Siok and his beautiful great grandchildren; Theo and Rhya Goldman.

Bob had a long career as a carpenter and a builder and was a member of the Carpenter's Union of Connecticut.  After retirement, he moved to Ocala, FL and became an active member of the Christ the King Anglican Church. He was particularly honored to serve in the Stephen Ministry working with WWII veterans and also supported Marilyn in her Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry. This church community became a second family to Bob and Marilyn.
