Obituary

Robert M. Wilcock, 84, passed away peacefully in his home in Oxford on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 2, 1937 in Norwich, he was the son of late William and Yvonne Wilcock and predeceased by his brother, William Wilcock of Florida.

Robert was a Navy veteran, a retiree of AT&T, and a long-standing member of the Riverside Volunteer Fire Co. and the United Church of Christ Congregational both located in Oxford. Robert enjoyed fishing, boating, golf, gardening, camping, traveling, all things nature, and most of all, spending time with family.

He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Ivy R. Wilcock of 65 years. Robert also leaves behind his two children, Bonnie Braatz of Oxford, and Joy Harmann of Southbury. Robert also had four very special grandchildren, Austen and Amanda Braatz of Oxford, and Michael and Kaylynn Harmann of Southbury.

Friends may gather at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St N., Southbury on Friday September 23, 2022 from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Riverside Volunteer Fire Co. and Oxford Ambulance Association.
