Born on December 26, 1949, in New Haven, Connecticut, Robert was the beloved son of Henry Piascik and Mable Bradanini. He touched the lives of many with his warm spirit and infectious smile. Robert proudly served as a Lead Service Representative at the Southern Connecticut Gas Company, where his dedication and commitment to his work were admired by colleagues and clients alike.
Robert's true joy came from sharing time with family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed crabbing, often spending peaceful days on the water. He found great pleasure in riding his trike motorcycle and leisurely boating on his pontoon boat, experiences that he eagerly shared with his loved ones. His passions created countless joyful memories that will be treasured by those who knew him.
Robert is survived by his loving spouse, Joanne (Salemme) Piascik, who was his partner in life. Married for over 50 years, they shared many adventures together, while raising their three daughters, Chrissie Morneault (Jason), Jennifer Fahlund (Erik), and Mechele Smith (Randy).
Bob was pre-deceased by his sister Mary, his brother Peter and his parents. He will be missed by his sister, Alexia Criscuolo (Paul), his sister-in-law, Rosemary Teodosio (Frank), and brother-in-law, Ralph Salemme (MaryAnn). He will be missed by his grandchildren; Vallerie Balch (Dylan), Victoria Wilson (Chaz), Shayleigh, Lucas, Samuel and Graciana, and many nieces and nephews.
