Mr. Robert Edward Murray, 64, of Quassapaug Rd. died Friday November 3rd at Waterbury Hospital. Mr. Murray was born May 7, 1942 in Hartford, son of the late Edward Robert and Viola (Bodenstein) Murray. He was the husband of Priscilla (Moulton) Murray.
Mr. Murray was member of the United Methodist Church in Woodbury, he held multiple offices and served the church in many capacities. He loved reading, golf, sailing, photography and taking his granddaughters birthday shopping. A graduate of Hartford Public High School he received his degree in Business from the University of Hartford. He then received his Masters in Business Administration from Western New England College. He also received a Health Care Administrative Certification from Central CT State University. He then worked in the Danbury Health Care Center as an Administrator for two years and several other Health Care Centers in Administration in CT. He also worked at Union Carbide as a Comptroller in Danbury and Willmington, NC for a total of 12 years.
Besides his loving wife Priscilla, he is survived by his children, Greg R. Murray of Annapolis, MD, Kelly Bouchard of Ellington, CT and Scott Trefethen of Portland, OR, Tracy Trefethen of Portland, OR and Christine McKeel of Aiken, SC, and 11 grandchildren.

Services: Funeral Tuesday November 7th at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Woodbury. Memorial Contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Woodbury, Church Street, Woodbury, CT 06798.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 235 Main St. North, from 4: 00 - 6: 00pm on Monday November 6th.
