Robert C. Middlebrook, 79 of Ocala, FL passed away peacefully at Masonicare of Newtown October 15th surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Roberta J. Middlebrook.
Bob was born April 16, 1933, in Norwalk, the son of the late Cornelius and Mary Elizabeth (Fahon) Middlebrook and was a Wilton resident for 69 years before retiring to Ocala in 2002. He was a Korean war veteran and a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College working many years as an accountant.
Bob was a Mason for 57 years serving three times as Past Master of Arc Lodge. He was recently a volunteer at Marion Oaks Elementary School in Ocala.
Bob is survived by his daughter Debra and her husband Alan of Southbury, his grandchildren Kelly and Kaitlyn and her husband Josh; his sister Mary Jane and several nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his son Jeffrey Robert.

Services: Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 20 at the United Methodist Church, Church St., Woodbury. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Wilton.

Visitation: There are no calling hours.
