Obituary

Robert John Kleros, 19, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Southbury, CT passed peacefully on May 13th in Bedford, PA. Rob was born June 10, 1996 in New Haven, CT. He was one of the treasured sons of George J. Kleros, Jr. and Catherine (Walsh) Kleros, and the brother of Ryan Kleros, all of Southbury, Ct. He went to Region 15 schools and attended Nonnewaug High School where he was on the football, lacrosse and hockey teams. Of all the sports he played, he loved hockey and was happiest on the ice with his mates. He was an accomplished archer and he ranked 6th in the Utah State Wrestling Regionals. He attended Dixie State University in Utah but realized his heart was in traveling and work. Rob worked for ADT in sales and was a Team Leader and Recruiter. His happy, outgoing nature and huge smile made him a natural for sales. He loved traveling across the country working and meeting new people. He liked hiking, camping and the great outdoors. He especially loved living out west with the perpetual warmth and sunshine. Rob was a very spiritual young man. He believed in the power of prayer and taught Christian Education at North Congregational Church. He was very mechanical and could fix or create just about anything. Family and friends were most important to Rob. He adored his brother Ryan. He was grateful for the love and kindness others showed him and worked to pay that forward. He was always ready to help others and was known for offering friends in need a bed for the night, a meal or clothes. He had a generous heart and a beautiful soul. We are so proud of the fine young man he had become. He will forever be our Amazing Rob. Besides his parents and brother, Rob is survived by his grandparents Stella and Chet Trzaski, Joan Lasprogatto, George and Wendy Kleros and Eloise and Gary Flack. Aunts and Uncles Tom and Chris (Walsh) Braheney, James Kleros, Joan Waters, John and Michelle Brennan, Julie Marzano, Stacey and Danny Purcell and Dawn and Brian Abbott, cousins Taylor Perry, Erin Braheney, Jennifer Waters, Sarah Galloway, Bella and Mike Marzano, Natalie, Lauren and Mac Brennen and Erin Abbott, and a large extended family. He was predeceased by his grandfather and namesake, Robert John Walsh and his grandfather Bob Lasprogatto.
