Bob was born in Cortland, New York, on February 20, 1922, son of the late Frank and Margaret Crisara. He was an Army Staff Sergeant during World War II, stationed on Ascension Island. Following his education at Cornell University and receiving his Ph.D. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he pursued a career in Human Resources and Labor Relations.
Surviving Bob is his wife of 65 years, Stella, and his three children, Stephanie and her husband John Katerenchuk of Lititz, Pa., Peter and his wife Deborah (Fio Rito) of Irvington, NY, and Nina and her husband Joseph Walsh of Middlebury, Ct. He also leaves 6 grandchildren - Kristen, Andrew and Peter Crisara, and Eric, Jack and Steven Walsh along with 2 step-grandchildren, Troy and Matthew Katerenchuk.
Bob's first love was always his family. His keen sense of humor and wit lightened every conversation.
