Robert M. Constantine, Woodbury, CT
Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend Robert M. Bob Constantine, of Woodbury, CT passed away peacefully on February 15, 2011 in Waterbury, CT. Rita, his wife of 56 years, was by his side.
Born in 1931, Bob grew up in Woodside, NY. He served in the Navy on the aircraft carrier, USS Coral Sea during the Korean War as a naval photographer. Following his service he worked for several years as a commercial photographer in Manhattan including many years with The Equitable Life Insurance Company. Bob and his wife founded Photographic Media Incorporated in Stamford, CT in 1977, relocating the company to Atlanta, GA in 1990 before retiring to Newtown, CT in 1998.
Bob built the first family home in Yorktown Heights, New York and enojyed completing many carpentry projects throughout his life. He was active in the Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Patricks in Yorktown and St. Rose of Lima in Newtown, CT and Nocturnal Adoration participant at both parishes as well as St. Teresa of Avila in Woodbury, CT. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Rita, brother Walter of Katonah, NY, and children Laura Maher of New York City, Lisa of East Haddam, CT, Robert of Unity, ME, and Michael of Weston, CT. He was predeceased by daughter Linda Segreti of Danbury, CT. Bob has 8 granchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his membory to St. Teresa of Avila Parish, PO Box 5001, Woodbury, CT 06798.

Cemetery: Gate of Heaven

Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury

Funeral: St. Teresa's Church

Services: A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Friday February 18th at St. Teresa's Church in Woodbury. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St., from 5 - 8pm on Thursday February 17th.
