Obituary

Mr. Robert F. Bailey, 72, of Woodbury died Saturday June 11th, 2011 surrounded by his loving family and the loving staff from VITAS Hospice. He was the husband of Linda Dickerson Bailey.
Robert "Moe" was born November 1, 1938 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Roger Bailey and Margaret Hobson Schwetz. Moe and Linda were both born and raised in Bridgeport. They resided in Stratford as they began their family before moving to Woodbury 35 years ago.
Moe was a people person, all his life. His favorite past time was visiting and socializing at the local diners of Woodbury.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his 3 daughters, Debbie Rubenstein and her partner Tom Larsen of Middlebury, Denise Maseto and her husband Ernie of Stratford, Dawn Bennett and her husband Jim of Woodbury, He was predeceased by a daughter Colleen Bailey in 1981. He had 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Rubenstein and his wife Caitlin, Jesse Maseto and his wife Sarah, Anthony Maseto, Robert Maseto, Amanda Bennett and Nicholas Bennett, 3 great grandchildren, Cole and Tyler Maseto and Colleen Rubenstein. He had 1 brother, 3 sisters, and 2 step-brothers, many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury

Funeral: Church Not Applicable

Services: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 15th at 11am at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St. Burial will follow in New North Cemetery, Woodbury.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday June 14th from 4 - 8pm.
