Richard L. Massey passed away in his sleep October 24 in Southbury, CT at the age of 96. He was a resident of Westport, CT from 1959 - 1994 and of Pomperaug Woods, Southbury, CT from 1994 - 2011. A wonderful father, a patriotic US Army officer in WWII, ETO, a loyal, long-term employee of Mobil Oil Corp., he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. His generous spirit will live on in the memories of his beloved daughter Pam, his devoted niece Dottie, and his dear friend Diana. We know he will be forever grateful for the friendship and kindness of the residents and staff at Pomperaug Woods.
