Mr. Richard Warren Mallette Sr., 64, of Waterbury died Tuesday June 30th at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Charlene R. (Bluto) Mallette. Mr. Mallette was born January 16, 1945 in Bridgeport a son of the late John Wesley and Ellen (Brandt) Mallette.
Prior to retiring in 2004, Richard worked for 42 years at Avery Abrasives in Trumbull. He loved spending time with his family, friends and outdoor life.
In addition to his loving wife he is survived by his five sons, Richard Mallette Jr. and his wife Kerry of Gilbert, AZ, Ray Mallette and his wife Jackie of West Warwick, RI, Larry Mallette of Watertown, Steven Mallette and his wife Kelly of Winsted and Timothy Mallette and his wife Suzanne of Brooklyn, NY. Richard is also survived by his seven granddaughters and a grandson, his sister Audrey Mallette of Woodbury, a brother Carl Mallette and his wife Donna of Williston, VT, a sister - in - law Donna Mallette of Harmony, ME and several nieces and nephews. Richard is predeceased by three brothers, Randy, Bobby and Jack Mallette.
