SOUTHBURY- Richard Earl Hickcox, 86 of Southbury and New Smyrna Beach, FL died Wednesday September 8, 2010. He was the husband of Alyce "Lolly" ( Sloat) Hickcox.
Mr. Hickcox was born October 26, 1923 in Port Chester, NY son of the late Clarence Earl and Aurelia (Stickle) Stapper. He grew up in Rye, NY. He was a WWII veteran serving in Patton's army from 1942-1945.
He leaves "the love of his life" Alyce "Lolly" (Sloat) to whom he was married for 64 years. His children, Richard Hickcox of W. Nyack, NY, Leslie Hickcox of San Diego, CA, Craig Hickcox of W, Nyack, NY, Nanci Zimmerman and her husband Todd, his granddaughters Chelsey and Abbey Zimmerman of New Milford, CT and his sister Patricia Ingenito of St. Mary's, OH.

Services: A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes, 3 Old Town Park Rd., New Milford, CT.

Visitation: Friends may call the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North on Friday from 3-8 p.m.
