Richard E. Boston of Southbury, passed away on August 28, 2020 at Newtown Rehab. He was born on September 15, 1949 in New Castle, PA to the late Ruth & William Boston.

He was a devoted husband, father, & grandfather. Dick is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara, his son & wife, Doctors Travis & Melina Boston of Wernersville, PA and their children, Kaitlin, Leah, & Brendan Boston. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Louise (Charles) Best of Lititz, PA and his brother in law, Kevin (Maureen) Riley of Toms River, NJ.

Dick was an alumnus of Allegheny College and Rutgers University.He taught in Cleveland, Ohio and Holmdel, NJ. Then he worked at Pomperaug Regional High School as the media specialist as well as a realtor. Dick enjoyed being the voice of the Panthers' football & basketball teams. Dick had a wonderful sense of humor which he enjoyed sharing with everyone he met.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Allegheny College, Meadville, PA; the Southbury Public Library, or the Southbury Needy Fund.
