Richard B. Armstrong, loving husband and father, passed away on December 21st. He was born in Boise, Idaho, on November 6, 1921. He graduated from the Military Academy at West Point in 1945 and had a distinguished career serving in Vietnam for two tours and retiring as a Lt. Col after 23 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Virginia. He is also survived by his son Burke and his wife Sonia, daughter Janice and her husband John McDevitt, their son Glendon, his wife Genevieve and daughter Lily.

Services: A memorial service will be held on December 30th at Pomperaug Woods, Heritage Road, Southbury, CT at 2: 30 in the afternoon. Family and friends are invited to attend.
