WOODBURY- Raymond N. Naylor, 85, of Woodbury, died Monday, February 14, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Overton) Naylor.
Mr. Naylor was born in Waterbury July 10, 1925, son of the late Edmund and Alice (Norris) Naylor. He moved to Woodbury in 1972. He was a veteran of WW II having served on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Bataan in the Pacific from 1943-1946. Mr. Naylor retired from Eastern Color Printing Co. after 41 years as a printing pressman.
Mr. Naylor was a member of the King Solomon's Lodge #7 of Woodbury, a member of AASR, Valley of Waterbury and Valley of Bridgeport. He was past patron of Pomperaug Chapter O. E. S., a past Royal Patron of Evergreen Court Order of Amaranth, a past Watchman of Shepard's of Gallille Shrine W.S.O.J. and was also a member to St. Paul's Church in Woodbury.
He is survived by a daughter, Rynn Naylor and a son Russ Naylor both of Woodbury.
