Obituary

Mr. Raymond W. Galvin, 68, of Woodbury passed away Friday June 12th at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Tina Galvin. Mr. Galvin was born December 9, 1940 in Waterbury the son of the late Raymond F. and Beatrice (Oviatt) Galvin. He was raised in Prospect and was a graduate of Kaynor Technical School in Waterbury. He was the owner of Ray's World of Color. He was past president of the Algonquin Archers and member and supporter of the N.R.A. He was an avid Red Sox fan and UCONN women's basketball fan.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two daughters, Doreen Pelletier and her husband Steve of Bethlehem and Eileen Galvin and her boyfriend Bobby Weaver of Southbury, two grandsons that were his prized possessions, Matthew Cisero and Joseph Pelletier of Bethlehem, a sister Marsha Mascoli of Bristol, two nephews and a niece.

Funeral: Church Not Applicable

Services: A funeral service will be held on Monday June 15th at 10: 00am at The Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.

Visitation: Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday June 14th from 5: 00 - 8: 00pm.
