Raymond L. Crawford, 71, of Roxbury, Connecticut died unexpectedly on Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born on September 18, 1944.
Raymond served for 39 years in the Nassau County Police Department, where he ended his tenure as Chief of Police. Upon retirement, Raymond enjoyed becoming a Master Gardener, beekeeping, and biblical studies. He will be remembered for his active community service and as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Margaret, his daughters, Colleen McLeod and Catherine Corry, son-in-law, Sean Corry, seven loving grandchildren, Brendan, Clare, Maeve, Owen, John, Julia, and William, and brother, Vincent Crawford. He is predeceased in death by mother Helen, father Vincent, and sisters Virginia and Joan.

Services: Funeral service will be held at 11: 00 AM on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Teresa of Avila, Woodbury, Connecticut.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 4: 00-8: 00PM at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School Street, Woodbury, Connecticut.
