Peter J. Ciriello, Jr., 61, of Orlando, Florida and formerly of Waterbury died unexpectedly Friday March 7, 2014 at his home.
Peter was born September 19, 1952 in Waterbury, a son of the late Peter J. and Barbara (Anderson) Ciriello, Sr. He worked at Stop & Shop in Waterbury for many years before moving to Florida, where he had resided for the past 33 years. Upon moving to Florida, Peter worked as a chef in the restaurant business and continued doing so until the time of his death.
He is survived by his 5 siblings; Linda Sheeler and her partner Tony Rinaldi of Wolcott, Cheryl Mirabilio and her husband Vincent of Bethlehem, Michael Ciriello of Wolcott, Margie Breiner and her husband Keith of Watertown, Mark Ciriello and his wife Erin of North Carolina, his nieces; Danielle Maida and her husband Samuel of Morris, Jamie Mirabilio of Watertown and Kate Breiner of Watertown, nephews; Gregg Sheeler of Tolland, Ryan Sheeler of Oakville, Evan McBride of California and Brandon Breiner of Watertown, grandniece; Gabriela Maida, grandnephew; Vincenzo Maida and his good friend, Frank of Orlando, FL, and his daughter, Nicola, who referred to him always as Grandpa and was the light of his life.
