Peter D. Boeger, 68, of Oxford died Wednesday February 5, 2014 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the husband of Pamela (Lane) Boeger.
Mr. Boeger was born August 3, 1945 in Stamford, a son of the late Max and Marguerite (Farrel) Boeger. Peter was a veteran of the US Marine Corps having served proudly during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Bridgeport Engineering Institute, receiving his Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering. He then worked as an electrical engineer. Peter was a member of the Marine Corps League- Valley Detachment, the American Legion, American Legion Riders and the Boy Scouts of America. His hobbies included fishing, boating, horseback riding, cars, motorcycling, skiing and tech gadgets.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Sean Boeger, his wife Chantel and their children, Aiden, Mason, Finn and Molly, all of Stamford, a daughter, Monica Boeger of Denver, CO, a brother, Bill Boeger of Pinehurst, NC and several nieces and nephews.

Services: Burial will be Friday February 14, 2014 at 10am in the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown.
Visitation: A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2014 from 6-8pm at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North.
